Dr. King's Life
By Bianca (2-3)

In 1928 Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. was bom in Atlanta, Georgia. He was smart and went to school. Dr. King went to college and married Coretta Scott. One day Rosa Parks went on the bus. She was very tired and there were no seats available but the front seats. A white man came in and told the bus driver that she was sitting in the front. This was against the law. Rosa was tired and didn't want to get up, so the bus driver called the police. She was sent to jail. The white and black people didn't ride the bus because they wanted to change the bad laws. They marched to Washington, D. C. for civil rights. Someone threw a bomb in Dr. King's home but Dr. King wrote, "I have a dream that everyone could be free." Dr. Martin L.King won the Nobel Peace Prize. Dr. Martin L. King was shot in 1968. People still love him because he was a good man.
